What Makes Impact 2818 Camps Unique?
Impact 2818 is a volunteer-based ministry and an extension of local church ministries. Over 1,200 volunteers serve in our ministry each year, many of whom are church leaders and volunteers in the churches of the campers that we serve. Church leaders and volunteers are encouraged to serve as directors and counselors for camp. We believe that participants have the most success in our programs when they are accompanied by leaders from their church.
With Impact 2818, you’re not just sending individuals to camp, you’re a part of the ministry. As a volunteer, you are a part of the hands-on, intentional ministry that makes disciples for Jesus Christ. This style of ministry enables churches to take camp experiences back home with them so that they may then continue to build upon the spiritual development of campers.
The local church is the primary vehicle for fostering relationships and making disciples. People of all ages are seeking community and real relationships. As a local church serving ministry, Impact 2818 fosters the development of relationships and groups by offering programs and facilities to church groups that keep communities together throughout the experience and beyond. We are here to serve and enable churches in any way that we can as we partner together in ministry to make disciples for Jesus Christ.
