???WHAT IS THE PROCESS???
Royal Family Kids Camp
One sunny morning on the southern coast of Australia, a little boy discovered that hundreds of starfish had washed up on the beach and were dying in the sun. Frantically he began to grab the starfish and fling them back out to sea.
A man who was jogging down the beach stopped to observe the boy in this seemingly futile exercise. There were far too many starfish to be saved. “I understand what you’re trying to do, son,” the man said, “but do you really think it will make a difference?”
The boy looked up at the man, then down at the starfish in his own hand. “I don’t know, mister,” he said, “but it will make a difference to this one.”
We too can make a difference to those children whose lives we touch. Whose lives do you want to touch?
Children in Need
Every year children of all ages are being ignored, neglected, and abused. However, at Royal Family Kids Camp, we attempt to be a building block for a brighter future for these kids. During this week of camp, every child is treated as royalty. They are loved, cared for and treated to an amazing camp experience with events like a birthday party for each camper, horseback riding, canoeing/kayaking, swimming, praise/worship, and bible classes. Campers will discover that affection and affirmation can come from trusted, caring adults, and through Christ’s love.
Interested in how you can help these remarkable children? The best way is to serve as a counselor or staff member during the week of camp. If you would like to do this, fill out a volunteer counselor application and we will help you get in touch with the directors.
